MISSION STATEMENT:
OUR DIRECTION FOR TODAY
At Oasis we believe Jesus is the true and better Oasis, the fountain of living water who satisfies and renews our souls. Gospel renewal is God’s redemptive work through Jesus to restore and reconcile all things back to Himself and His design. By multiplying gospel renewal, we mean helping people experience that restoration and renewal in every area of their life, through the gospel, as we carry out the Great Commission.
Vision Statement: Our Dream for Tomorrow
Vision Statement:
Our Dream for Tomorrow
Renewed Relationship with God | Salvation
Sin separates us from God, leaving us guilty before Him. Gospel renewal begins when we respond in faith to Jesus and are justified—declared righteous and restored into the right relationship with God. (Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:18–19)
Renewed Relationship with Self | Sanctification
Because of sin, our lives become disordered and disconnected from God’s design. Through discipleship in the gospel, the Holy Spirit transforms us into the likeness of Jesus—the truest picture of what it means to be human. As we are conformed to His image, we become whole and holy, living as God intended. (Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18, 5:17, Titus 2:11-14)
Renewed Relationships with Others | Reconciliation
Sin fractures our relationships, producing division, pride, and hostility. But when the gospel renews our hearts, it also renews how we relate to others—empowering us to live in forgiveness, reconciliation, humility, and love, just as Christ has loved us. (John 17:21, Ephesians 2:14–16; Colossians 3:12–14)
Renewed Relationship with Creation | Stewardship
Because of sin, we exploit creation for our own glory rather than God’s. The gospel reshapes our hearts to become faithful stewards, using all things for His glory and the good of others. (Genesis 1:26–28; 2:15; 11, Psalm 24:1; Matthew 25:14-30, 1st Corinthians 4:2)
Renewed Relationship with the World | Mission
Sin has broken our world—marked by lostness, injustice, and decay. But through Jesus, God is bringing renewal as His people live on mission, making disciples and bringing His justice, mercy, and beauty into every corner of life. (Matthew 28:18–20; Micah 6:8; Revelation 21:1-5
We depend on the Holy Spirit as our first response; not our last resort.
We rely fully on God’s presence and power in everything we do—praying first, listening often, and trusting the Spirit to lead, empower, and sustain us.
We prioritize the gospel above all.
The good news of Jesus is the center of everything we believe and do. It shapes our message, fuels our mission, and transforms our motives.
We pursue deep discipleship in diverse relationships.
We grow in faith by intentionally building meaningful, cross-cultural, and multi-generational relationships that help us follow Jesus and help others follow Jesus.
We steward our gifts to build God’s Kingdom, not our own.
We faithfully steward our time, talent, and treasures for God’s glory and the good of others. Everything we have belongs to Him, and we gladly invest it to build His kingdom—not our own.
We do whatever it takes to reach and welcome all people.
We joyfully join Jesus in His mission to seek and save the lost, serve the least, and engage all people with His love in word and deed. We create spaces of belonging and opportunities for mission, using hospitality as a doorway to display and declare the gospel.
The Board of Advisors is a temporary accountability board whose primary role is to provide care, counsel, and coaching to the Lead & Executive Pastor until we institute a plurality of local elders. This will ensure healthy decision making and prevent important choices from being made in isolation.
